Women’s Health Services are now being offered on a drop-in basis in U-Hall. The exact location is the Seminar Room in the U-Hall Commons. There are no appointments needed to speak with a doctor or nurse practitioner.
Stop by if you have
• questions or concerns
• need birth control prescriptions (new or refills)
• or, are seeking information about safer sex

I have recently been pondering the source of self confidence in the people around me. About a week ago, I was having day and I kept thinking, why me? I was disappointed in myself for making a few grammatical errors in a paper I had just turned in. I was also embarrassed. How could I have made such small mistakes? The U-Hall front desk maintains a video for use by residents.
To see what’s available, click on the “U-Hall Video Collection” link in the “U-HALL RESOURCES” section of the sidebar at right.
To borrow a video, you’ll need to leave your NYU ID with the front desk for the duration of the loan.
Are there DVDs that you’d like us to add to the collection? Both the Faculty Fellows and the Hall Council sponsor the addition of new titles. If you have suggestions for new acquisitions, leave a comment here.

One of the best features of U-Hall is its newly renovated space on the C-Level: The Commons. This area, accessible through the door to the right before the turnstiles in the lobby, is a gathering space that features a “grab-and-go” cafe; a lounge with tables, comfortable chairs and couches; two LCD televisions; a large screen and projector; a seminar room where we will be holding Freshman Honors Seminars; and both Apple Macs and wireless access. Did you know that the U-Hall front desk maintains a video library? There are DVDs and VHS tapes available to borrow. All you have to do is leave your ID with the desk attendant while you’re borrowing an item.
A list of available DVDs can be found by clicking “U-Hall Video Collection” in the LINKS section of the sidebar to the right. We’ll keep the list up-to-date.
