Answer:  This picture show a camera team from the American Mutoscope and Biograph Company filming the Jim Jeffries-Tom Sharkey world heavyweight boxing title bout in Coney Island, New York on November 3, 1899. You can find an account of the fight in the Wikipedia entry for Sharkey.
The Biomax Films restoration project has an interesting history of American Mutosocope and Biograph (later simply &#8220;American Biograph&#8221;) on its website.

UPDATE: DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT!
The UHall Resource Center lends out DVDs to residents of the building. Over the summer, your RAs looked over the selection of films that are currently available and made suggestions about DVDs that should be added to the library. (The &#8220;Rentals&#8221; link above lists DVDs, video games, and board games that are available at the front desk.)
